In the application circuit example on the NJM2387A datasheet, the input/output capacitor types are electrolytic capacitors, but can ceramic capacitors be used?

As for NJM2387A, the input capacitor Cin can be replaced with any type of ceramic capacitor.For the output capacitor Co, electrolytic capacitors are recommended, but ceramic capacitors can also be used.
The following is an example of stable operation region characteristics of NJM2387A (Figure 1). 

When using a ceramic capacitor with a small equivalent series resistance (ESR) for Co, connect a resistor in series with the capacitor.
The resistor should be equivalent to the ESR resistance value, referring to the characteristic example. Select a capacitor with an effective capacitance value that is equal to or greater than the recommended capacitance value, including characteristic variations (frequency characteristics, temperature characteristics, etc.) .
